About The Position

Overview Provides the key client relationship to a major client or clients. Grows revenue by leveraging the full IQVIA portfolio and identifying new business opportunities. Coordinates the sales, business & service lines at a regional level to ensure effective execution against client needs and IQVIA revenue targets. Accountable for the planning, execution and measurement of a portfolio of projects and programs to the client’s satisfaction, ensuring strategically-aligned, quality deliverables on time and within budget. Essential Functions Understands the key priorities of the client and manages – to achieve or exceed the assigned revenue and growth goals in assigned account(s) or sales territory. Takes proactive role in contract strategy. Develops strategy for expanding scope of existing contracts and identifying new business and win-back opportunities. Identifies and leads the pursuit of the targeted new business and contract expansion opportunities within assigned account(s). As required, may lead negotiations in renewing multi-year and/or multi-country/ regional contract(s) within assigned account(s). Develops relationships with key executives and decision makers within assigned accounts. Manages the overall relationship to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with product/service offering. Provide leadership coordinating the involvement of IQVIA resources (marketing, sales specialists, consulting and client service) in actively promoting the full IQVIA portfolio of products and consulting services to anticipate and meet clients’ needs. Develops and executes account plan(s) and monitors progress. Adjusts plan accordingly to consider new IQVIA product/service offerings as well as significant changes to business conditions. May pursue multi-country/regional opportunities through to close. Role Requirements Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience. 5+ years of relevant sales and account management experience within the life sciences industry. Strong knowledge of all aspects of Pharmaceutical marketing, data, and/or commercialization Demonstrated success building strong customer relationships. Demonstrable experience in managing global teams in a matrixed, multi regional organization delivering global initiatives Ability to work creatively in a fast paced environment maintaining flexibility and changing priorities to answer client's needs. Effective negotiation skills, positioning IQVIA and our products as a partner of choice. Ability to navigate client networks and managing relationships with various levels of stakeholders. Demonstrative judgement and decision making skills. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Collaborative mindset with a proven ability to partner cross functionally across the organization. Ability to properly represent IQVIA with external stakeholders. We appreciate your honesty and professionalism. The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $89,600.00 - $249,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant sales and account management experience within the life sciences industry.
