Requirements
- Licensed or Registered Nurse with a minimum of at least three to five years in RCFE licensed communities.
- Minimum intermediate knowledge of Title 22 regulations.
- A minimum of two to four years of supervisory experience required.
Nice To Haves
- RCFE administrator license preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assures implementation of policies and procedures relating to Resident care and oversight of all health-related services.
- Manages, coordinates and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
- Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of new wellness applicants.
- Responsible for the management of timecards, scheduling, and approving paid time off for wellness staff ensuring adequate coverage for department and resident needs.
- Participate in manager-on-duty rotation with other department leads.
- Collaborates with Assistant Wellness Director in on-call rotation to ensure adequate on-call coverage.
- Establishes working relationship with health care professionals in the community to include interactions with the Residents’ health care providers.
- Manages, coordinates, and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
