About The Position

Successful candidates should possess a minimum of three years experience working in an Assisted Living community. Previous experience as a Certified Medication Aide or Medication Technician is required. Previous supervisory experience preferred. The AL Supervisor performs a variety of administrative functions for our Assisted Living department, including staffing, interviewing, medication administration, supply ordering and stocking, and much more. Coordinate orientation and on-boarding programs for all newly hired AL associates. Assists with scheduling interviews for Caregivers and Medication Technicians. Process all ancillary charges for resident billing. Coordinates procurement of all supplies, to include medical and office supplies as well as equipment within budget parameters to meet the needs of the facility and staff. Maintains inventory. Attempts to fill open shifts utilizing PRN associates. Reports staffing absenteeism to AL Director and Health Services Manager. Fills in as a Medication Technician if coverage for open shifts is not available. Administer routine medications per physician orders, regulations, and under the supervision of an RN. Maintain order, safety, and cleanliness. Take vital signs as indicated and/or required. Respond to nurse call lights for assistance. Assure that each resident receives the kind and amount of supervision and care required to meet basic needs. This position is Full-time, Monday - Friday.

Requirements
