Requirements

Ability to follow recipes and accurately manage portion control.
Ability to lift and move safely as required.
Availability to work 1st shift hours (7am - 6pm), including every other weekend and holiday.
Must pass background check.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in cooking in healthcare preferred.
CBRF Certifications preferred.
ServSafe Certifications preferred.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards seniors.

Responsibilities

Prepare daily meals and snacks according to established manus, recipes, and resident dietary requirements.
Ensure melas are nutritious, flavorful, and visually appealing.
Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures, maintaining a clean an organized kitchen.
Assist with menu planning, including accommodating special diets
Monitor food inventory and work with Management on procurement.
Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Understand and practice standard precautions at all times.
