About The Position

The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking two highly motivated, dedicated professionals for the position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach.

Bradley is a long-standing MVC member with top-notch facilities including a 4,500-seat arena dedicated to women’s basketball and volleyball with an adjoining basketball practice facility.

The position is a full-time, twelve-month position and will assist with the administration of all aspects of a Division I women’s basketball program including: recruiting, game and practice preparation, player development, on-court coaching, scouting and other duties as assigned by the Head Women’s Basketball Coach.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
• Collegiate coaching and/or playing experience is required, preferably at the NCAA Division I level.
• The successful candidates must possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; the ability to recruit prospective student athletes; proficiency and in-depth knowledge of the game of basketball; a commitment to excellence, sensitivity to cultural differences and a commitment to the mission and values of Bradley Athletics.
• The position requires significant travel.
• Proficiency with computer applications, general office software and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required.
• CPR Certification is required within 30 days of hire.
