About The Position

The Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach is responsible for assisting in the
overall management of the women’s basketball program. This position is
responsible for assisting the Head Women’s Basketball Coach in all aspects of
practice and competition preparation and the comprehensive operation of the
program with student athlete welfare as a guiding principle. Management of the
program must adhere to all budgetary guidelines, as well as NCAA, Mid American
Conference (MAC) and University
of Toledo policies. This position is expected to help manage a team that is
highly competitive within the MAC as well as experiencing competitive success
both Regionally and Nationally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Basketball coaching, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate and counsel student-athletes on requirements for personal conduct, academic performance and athletic performance.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and ethical behavior.
• Ability to comply with all policies and regulations of the University, MAC and NCAA.
