About The Position
In charge of cleaning cages, administering medication, providing animals with food and water, and walking dogs.
Requirements
- Basic animal care experience in areas such as feeding, animal ward sanitization, dog walking, cat care, and oral medication administration.
- Basic computer skills
- Work safely and follow safety rules.
- Report unsafe working conditions and behavior.
- Take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food for dogs and cats
- Walking/exercising dogs and cats
- Cleaning and sanitizing dog and cat cages/runs.
- Administering oral/topical medications to dogs and cats.
- Basic housekeeping (mopping, sweeping, and laundry)
- Entering patient notes into practice management software.
