Animal Care: Feed, water, and care for animals as instructed by the veterinary or hospital staff. Monitor the animals' behavior, health, and comfort during their stay. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed under supervision. Exercise pets and provide companionship and attention as needed. Facility Maintenance: Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas regularly to maintain a safe, sanitary environment. Ensure proper waste disposal, including cleaning up after pets. Maintain clean and organized supply areas. Record Keeping: Document pet care activities, behavior, feeding, and other relevant information. Assist with intake and discharge of animals, ensuring all paperwork and procedures are followed. Communication: Communicate with pet owners and provide updates about their pet's status, needs, and well-being. Coordinate with veterinary and medical staff on any health concerns or issues. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to pet owners during drop-offs and pick-ups, ensuring they feel confident and comfortable with the care their pet is receiving. Assist with scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and answering questions when necessary. Teamwork: Work closely with other hospital staff, including veterinary technicians, veterinarians, and receptionists, to ensure smooth operations and the best care for pets.
