About The Position

As a Plastipak Warehouse Area Leader , you will assist in leading Material Handlers to move a variety of finished good plastic containers for leading brands. Set Schedules : 12-hour shifts & a rotating 2-week standard schedule of 3 days, then 4 days is 15 working days a month as a full-time associate! Requirements

Ability to work 5:50pm - 6:05am on a cycle of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, repeat. This equates to 2 weekends per month off with a 3-day weekend
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Leadership, hi-lo, manufacturing/logistic operation ability. This can be experience gained through paid or unpaid work
Able to use soft skills with direct reports, excellent communication skills, etc.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

Be responsible for the efficient performance of all phases of Storage, Shipping and Receiving operations.
Direct the work of the Material Handlers.
Act in accordance with the policies set forth in the current procedure manual.
Clean & maintain equipment to assure optimal operating performance.
Grow your knowledge & skills through a wide variety of training & on-the-job experiences.
