DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to perform system and requirement analysis by identifying business needs, stakeholder expectations, and technical constraints with functional and non-functional requirements and providing short-term and long-term estimates. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any) or related field or equivalent and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience performing application and platform health checks to identify bottlenecks in performance and improve availability and durability of applications; using Java, J2EE and Spring Boot to build scalable microservices-based applications, including RESTful APIs and cloud-native technologies; utilizing CI/CD deployment tools including Jenkins and TeamCity to configure pipelines, automate builds, and coordinate deployments; utilizing In-Memory Computing Grids (IMCG) and distributed caching and data grid technologies; performing database design, querying, and optimization for SQL and NoSQL databases; utilizing message brokers, including Apache Kafka to design and implement event-driven architectures and ensure reliable message processing; developing and maintaining Unix shell scripts for automation, system monitoring, and deployment processes in Unix/Linux environments.
