A shift leader at Bojangles is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a restaurant during their shift. Their duties include: Customer service: Greeting customers, handling customer complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction Team management: Leading, motivating, and coaching employees, and ensuring they follow company policies Food and supplies: Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring food quality and safety Restaurant cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and organized restaurant, and ensuring equipment is in good working order Cash control: Handling cash and managing cash drops Shift schedule: Managing the shift schedule and dealing with no-shows Training: Training new staff and developing team members Financial responsibilities: Managing P&L, food cost, and labor Corrective actions: Initiating corrective actions and reporting issues to the manager An Assistant Manager works with the store manager to organize, plan and implement strategies. They also coordinate retail store operations and ensure employees meet store schedules and objectives.
