About The Position

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include\: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership’s assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity. The Transportation Assistant's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
  • 1 year customer service experience from a call center background is required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to use general office equipment such as\: copier, fax, scanner, phone.
  • Data entry - speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects.
  • Switchboard telephone experience.

Responsibilities

  • Working 7 days on 7 days off schedule
  • Providing timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and requests.
  • Processing customer orders/changes according to established department policies and procedures.
  • Providing timely feedback to the company regarding customer concerns.
  • Exceeding customer's service expectations.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
  • Talking with customers by phone concerning orders.
  • Receiving and entering phone and fax orders.
  • Calling customers when necessary to advise, and/or provide information necessary to process orders.
