About The Position

Stephens Capital Partners is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the General Counsel and CFO in managing private investment activities. This role is integral to maintaining organized documentation, supporting transactions, and handling key administrative and compliance functions in a professional, confidential environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2+ years of related experience and/or training.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to determine the appropriate action.
  • Process management skills.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, with the ability to learn and utilize industry specific software as required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated reliability in attendance and work performance.
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
  • Basic accounting, 10-key and alpha/numeric data entry.
  • Certificate of Commission of Notary Public for the State of Arkansas.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and organize files of all documents involved in acquisitions of, investments in, and sales of private companies with emphasis on creating and maintaining electronic / paperless files.
  • Prepare and revise, in both Word and pdf formats, documents using existing forms or drafts, including online data bases.
  • Make filings with Arkansas Secretary of State to create new legal entities (corporations, limited liability companies, etc.), and work with third party services (CT Corporation) to make filings in other states.
  • Obtain EIN’s from Internal Revenue Service.
  • Maintain and update small legal library (10-15 services).
  • Assist supervisor in routine administrative duties, such as maintaining Microsoft Outlook, open and sort incoming mail, answer phones, schedule conference calls.
  • Assist with travel coordination and expense reporting when requested.
  • Coordinate sharing of administrative duties with the other administrative assistants of Stephens Capital Partners to support group as a whole.
