About The Position
Providence Country Club is seeking an Assistant Tennis Professional to join our team. This position is hands on, member facing, and responsible for assisting the Director of Tennis and Pickleball with all program offerings, activities, events, lessons, clinics, etc. Full-time positions offer outstanding benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), paid time off, and a daily complimentary staff meal. Requirements
- Strong playing background - NTRP rating 4.5+ ideal
- Ability to feed balls consistently and run drills
- Experience working with players of varying ages and skill levels
- Good communication skills and a positive on-court presence
- Experience stringing racquets
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours
- Willingness to cover shop hours and help as needed with court maintenance
- Assisting with keeping the Pro Shop professional and clean
Responsibilities
- Assisting with lessons, clinic and camp offerings
- Assisting with socials, events and tournaments
- Assisting with daily court maintenance as needed
- Having dedicated shop hours, booking courts, replying to emails and answering calls
- Racquet stringing
- Promoting the program Other
- Provides quality service to all members and guests
- Attends staff meetings as appropriate
- Attends company training/seminar events as appropriate
- Performs other tasks as appropriate
