About The Position
The Assistant Tennis Coach will work under the direction of the head coach and assist with the administration of a successful Division I men’s and women’s tennis program. Requirements
- Bachelors in Business Administration or Higher Education Administration
Responsibilities
- Coach men’s and women’s tennis team under the supervision of the Head Tennis Coach including oversight of tennis practices along side the head coach.
- Advise on needs for equipment and facility needs.
- In consultation with the other coaches, provide input on scholarships for the teams.
- Purchase equipment such as; clothes, balls, nets, baskets, shoes.
- Provide a secure and productive team environment for student athletes in the tennis program.
- Interview and scout team candidates and evaluate the performance of those who are interested in attending the tennis program.
