The Assistant Team Leader is responsible to assist the department Team Leader with the team functions relative to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and teamwork. The Assistant Team Leader would be the acting Team Leader when the Team Leader is not present but also support department absenteeism. Primary responsibilities of the Assistant Team Leader include but are not limited to daily monitoring of safety compliance, performance to KPI's, delegation of work assignments, inventory management, training and support of team members, escalation of performance concerns, and consistent application of BorgWarner policies, procedures, and practices. Internal candidates will be selected based on an interview including but not limited to skill set, attitude, and attendance.
