The candidate must have knowledge of Criminlogy and will be expected to enhance the teaching mission of the Criminology and Sociology undergraduate majors and Sociology graduate degree programs through development and rigor of on-campus courses and distance courses. Start date will be either January 1, 2025 or August 16, 2025. For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department. The department has more than 400 undergraduate majors and 40 sociology graduate students with strong ties to the African American Studies Program, Gender Studies Program, the Social Science Research Center, the National Strategic Planning & Analysis Research Center, and the Southern Rural Development Center.
