About The Position

The Department of Accounting at John Sykes College of Business, University of Tampa, is seeking candidates for a one-year, full-time Lecturer of Accounting position (non-tenure track) starting in August 2026.

Requirements

• Candidates must hold at least a master’s degree in accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution
• Possess relevant professional accounting experience
• Have prior college-level teaching experience
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States

Responsibilities

• The teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester.
• Accounting faculty are expected to actively engage with students and participate in departmental activities, including student and alumni events, faculty meetings, and other service contributions, such as student advising, assurance of learning (AOL), and curriculum development.
