About The Position
We are looking for a dedicated, seasoned professional interested in creating a welcoming, loving classroom environment for our infant and toddler programs. Our classes are designed for teachers to co-lead. Lesson planning and classroom responsibilities are shared between co-teachers. This allows for better consistency in the implementation of the curriculum as well as a supportive, collaborative environment for our staff. Teachers are encouraged to use their experience, education, and creativity to create a hands-on play-based curriculum for their students. Requirements
- Professional & Kind Attitude
- 1 Year of prior classroom experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong written and communication skills
- Lead teacher requirements as outlined by the Department of Education of Virginia
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Childcare: 1 year (Required)
- Ability to commute/relocate: Vienna, VA 22182: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Nice To Haves
- CDA, associate degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
