About The Position
City Garden Montessori School (City Garden) is the only Montessori charter school in Missouri, and we are one of the highest-performing charter schools in the state. Under the stewardship of the Director of Summer School, the summer staff - which includes Lead Teachers, Assistants, and other support staff - are responsible for providing an instructional program based on grade level.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree
- 1+ years of classroom, camp or organized childcare experience
Responsibilities
- Working with our wonderful students!
- Helping the Lead Teacher provide instruction that supports the development of the cognitive, emotional, social, physical and spiritual growth of the child
- Assisting in the preparation of materials as directed by the Lead Teacher
- Providing supervision and enriching activities during non-academic times including lunch, recess, and afternoon periods as needed
- Working with individual children or small groups as directed by the lead teacher
