As an Assistant Teacher, your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with teachers to implement, supervise and assess educational programs. Providing instruction, behavior management, personal care, and supervision/support to students. Collaborating with teacher and assist with activities of the prescribed programs including those written by related service personnel such at PT, OT, and Speech, including implementation of student’s communication program. Providing classroom supervision and instruction in the absence of the teacher. Assisting students with personal care needs to include toileting, feeding, showering, and dressing. To help our students, you will be provided training and instruction on behavior management, communication techniques and assistive technology. Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 3:30 pm Includes a 6 week extended school year Wages: Competitive starting pay of $29.07 - $30.32/hr for hours worked, pay can be spread out over the entire year

Requirements

A Substitute Teacher or Professional Educator License is required - we do not accept Short Term Sub License.
A Bachelor's degree is required

Responsibilities

Collaborating with teachers to implement, supervise and assess educational programs.
