What you will get to do: Lead and inspire a team of Show Ambassadors in delivering an exemplary level of guest service. Model a positive attitude, a high level of energy and an unyielding commitment to quality. Responsible for the development of OJT’s and ambassadors by providing training, feedback, and coaching. Ensure compliance to all state/federal regulations, park policies, and department procedures Ensure ambassadors receive break and meal periods in accordance with company policy and applicable law Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the park, conduct quality inspections of assigned areas, and follow up on any opportunities to improve Maintain inventory and stock/replace areas supplies and equipment as needed Conduct equipment and safety checks in compliance with department and company standards Attend to ambassadors and follow park protocol in emergency situations Respond to ambassador and guest needs Communicate effectively with other areas within the department as well as other departments in the park Assist with the ingress and egress of guests at Stadium venues Assist with communicating show changes and show closures to guests Assist with staffing positions as needed for shows and parades Track information to complete daily and weekly reports Report to Supervisors and Managers regarding the status of projects and completed assignments Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests Perform other duties as assigned. Occasionally assist other locations and areas in the park as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Possession or pursuit of a bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent computer skills, ability to work multiple selling systems preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred
  • Valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license
  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to to complete provided CPR/AED training/certification
  • Ability to be trained and certified at all attractions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortability speaking in front of large groups of guests and ambassadors
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend and stoop to assist in cleaning the park
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds
  • Ability to able to climb stairs
  • Ability to walk in sand
  • Ability to assist in ride testing by riding all park rides
  • Ability to operate in a cash handling environment
  • Three full days of open availability
  • Availability to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and until 3:00 a.m. for seasonal events
