The Assistant Superintendent plays a key role in supporting the Superintendent with daily field operations, helping ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with plans and specifications.

Requirements

• Commercial construction general contractor experience required
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project documents
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Team-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day job site activities and field operations
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries
• Monitor project schedules and help ensure timely completion of work
• Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized job site
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure work is installed correctly
• Conduct site walks, track progress, and report updates to the Superintendent
• Help identify and resolve field issues proactively
• Maintain daily reports, logs, and project documentation
• Support inspections and ensure compliance with all project requirements
