About The Position

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a high-energy, sales-driven Assistant Studio Manager to help lead studio operations, drive revenue, and build a strong, connected community. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in boutique fitness, loves people, and understands that sales + experience = retention + growth. You will work 3 evenings per week, plus 2 daytime shifts (including one weekend day), helping to open the studio, lead the front desk team, and support overall studio performance.

  • Natural leader who can coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable
  • Highly organized with strong operational discipline
  • Outgoing, personable, and confident in building relationships
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment
  • 1–3+ years in boutique fitness, hospitality, or retail management
  • Experience in membership sales and retention
  • Familiarity with CRM/booking systems (e.g., Mindbody, Mariana Tek, etc.)

  • Lagree certification (nice to have, not required)

Responsibilities

  • Drive monthly revenue targets through execution of the studio's sales process
  • Generate new leads through grassroots marketing, partnerships, and referrals
  • Maintain pricing integrity and optimize product mix
  • Follow up on leads, conversions, and outstanding dues
  • Coach front desk staff on sales techniques and accountability
  • Implement retention strategies to increase member loyalty and referrals
  • Deliver an exceptional, consistent in-studio experience
  • Support quarterly challenges, events, and community-building initiatives
  • Build relationships with members to strengthen engagement and lifetime value
  • Collaborate with marketing and social media partners to create aligned content
  • Assist in producing promotional materials and campaigns
  • Lead the creation and distribution of a monthly studio newsletter
  • Build partnerships with local brands and businesses
  • Represent the studio at networking and community events
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise front desk associates
  • Support hiring and onboarding of instructors
  • Ensure all classes and shifts are covered (in partnership with ownership)
  • Evaluate team performance and provide coaching for improvement
  • Organize quarterly team-building activities and monthly trainer development sessions
  • Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and brand standards
  • Manage retail inventory and merchandising
  • Oversee administrative supplies and systems
  • Enforce studio policies and procedures
  • Provide daily performance updates and participate in weekly leadership meetings
  • If Lagree-certified, teach up to 5 classes per week as needed
  • Additional classes compensated at a flat rate of $40 per class
  • Combination of opening and closing responsibilities
