About The Position

Responsible for providing superior service to Casino guests, managing the day-to-day slot operations on assigned shift. Responsibilities Provide a welcome, comfortable and friendly atmosphere to casino guests through positive interactions and ensuring assigned staff meet or exceed slot service standards Develop slot players and host guests through guest recognition and slot marketing tools Lead, develop, motivate, schedule and coordinate slot department staff in providing service to casino guests Manage and resolve guest complaints in a manner that ensures guest satisfaction within the scope of their authority Maintain knowledge of, and ensure, slot department employees adhere to procedures and policies as well as compliance with gaming regulations Manage labor to provide superior service while maintaining cost effectiveness Report any safety issues identified on property, take initiative to prevent accidents to guests and employees Coordinate with security to detect and prevent attempts to cheat or damage slot machines Provide positive reinforcement, counsel, discipline and performance evaluations in a timely manner, appraise, guide and instruct assigned staff as appropriate Responsible for maintaining the security of department funds and assets Ensure compliance with gaming regulations, departmental procedures and company policies Assists with supervising employees in the slot repair and slot club as needed Interview applicants, recommend applicants for hire and provide recommendations for discharging slot employees Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and vision Exemplify our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culture Performs other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications Excellent communication skills Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English Perform intermediate math Supervise and instruct others Must be able to follow instructions, influence others, meet time requirements, problem solve using independent judgment and decision-making skills Working knowledge of slot operations Must have a basic understanding of slot and electronic equipment Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff Regular, predictable attendance Education: High school education or equivalent Experience: 3 years management experience Minimum 6 years in slot operation Certificate/License: Nevada Gaming Card ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Work is performed in an office and casino environment. Work may be performed in areas that may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky, dimly lit or illuminated. Constant contact with staff and customers. Seldom sitting, kneeling, crawling, climbing, balancing, pushing/pulling; occasionally reaching overhead, bending over and crouching; frequent standing, walking, lifting or carrying of 25 to 50 lbs; repetitive use of both hands with light and firm grasping and finger dexterity; the ability to perform complex tasks, reading, writing and math. Requires the use of office equipment such as computer, calculator, telephone and radio. Requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. Requires normal vision range and absence of color blindness. GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS: Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
