About The Position

As an Assistant Shift Manager for our Security Department, you will oversee the security operations during assigned shifts, ensuring effective staffing and performance management among security personnel. The position requires the implementation and enforcement of safety protocols in compliance with state and company regulations while promoting a secure environment for both guests and employees. You will manage staff schedules, conduct training and evaluations, respond to emergencies, and serve as a liaison with external agencies during security incidents.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior relevant experience working in direct security in a similar resort/casino environment, or law enforcement and/or military experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory, leadership, and/or team leader experience in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of security personnel at the property.
• Support operations, conducting interviews, hiring, and creating schedules.
• Implement procedures, train, and evaluate personnel while enforcing policies and providing necessary coaching.
• Also, plan staff assignments and oversee station coverage effectively.
• Respond to emergencies and threats promptly, ensuring the safety of guests and staff.
• Assist management with onsite investigations; coordinate and supervise onsite investigations as deemed necessary.
• Document incidents and manage proper escalation for effective resolution.
