About The Position

We’re seeking an Assistant Service Manager with a “whatever it takes” attitude to help keep our community running smoothly. What You’ll Be Doing: As the Assistant Service Manager, you’ll partner with the Service Manager to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet company standards and safety regulations. You’ll also: Lead, mentor, and develop your maintenance team in diagnosing and repairing issues. Provide expert troubleshooting across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair. Help establish and manage preventive maintenance, make-ready, and on-call schedules. Keep maintenance inventory organized and cost-effective. Regularly inspect community buildings and grounds to ensure everything is in top condition. Jump in to complete work orders and repairs as needed. What We’ll Expect From You: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and live within 30 minutes of the property. Competency with: P-Tech HVAC systems, Individual Hot Water Tanks, Copper Pipes/PEX. 2–4 years of related maintenance or technical experience. Working knowledge of systems such as Yardi or Mobile Maintenance (preferred). Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. Requirements
