About The Position

We're seeking an Assistant Service Manager with a "whatever it takes" attitude to help keep our community running smoothly. As the Assistant Service Manager, you'll partner with the Service Manager to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet company standards and safety regulations.

Requirements

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and live within 30 minutes of the property.
Competency with: P-Tech HVAC systems, Individual Hot Water Tanks, Copper Pipes/PEX.
2-4 years of related maintenance or technical experience.
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of systems such as Yardi or Mobile Maintenance (preferred).

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop your maintenance team in diagnosing and repairing issues.
Provide expert troubleshooting across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair.
Help establish and manage preventive maintenance, make-ready, and on-call schedules.
Keep maintenance inventory organized and cost-effective.
Regularly inspect community buildings and grounds to ensure everything is in top condition.
Jump in to complete work orders and repairs as needed.
