Assistant Scan Coordinator

About The Position
The Asst Coord, Scan is responsible for ensuring file integrity throughout the store. This role performs daily/weekly price audits/changes, as well as interacting with vendors and receiver to ensure authorized merchandise is brought into the store and verifying correct prices in system/on shelves. They will also be responsible for providing attentive and friendly customer service.
Requirements
- Regular vision and attention to detail
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
- Basic working knowledge of computers
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in retail or grocery operations preferred
- Ability to learn, differentiate, and retain information regarding product lines/locations
- Promote sales through courteous and friendly customer service
Responsibilities
- Create signs and tags to maintain accurate pricing throughout the store
- Maintain accurate pricing files for all departments
- Minimize shrink by ensuring all price discrepancies are resolved immediately
- Interact with Receiver and vendors
- Ensure all equipment is treated/maintained properly
- Complete all applicable paperwork
- Follow direction from the scan coordinator and Grocery Manager
- Provide attentive and friendly customer service
