Requirements

  • You Lead by Example: You excel in customer service, handle challenges professionally, and inspire others through your actions.
  • You Develop Talent: You're skilled at training and developing your team, creating a positive work environment, and maintaining a focus on the salon's success.
  • You're Licensed: You hold a current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations.
  • You're Flexible: You're available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • You're Tech-Savvy: You can perform administrative tasks, including closing out the system at the end of the day.

Responsibilities

  • Support Salon Operations: Assist the Salon Manager in overseeing daily operations and provide leadership and tools to ensure stylist success.
  • Lead by Example: Deliver all hair care services offered by Cost Cutters with the highest quality, setting the standard for excellence.
  • Coach and Mentor: Act as a coach and mentor to salon employees, fostering a positive work environment and bringing out the best in your team.
  • Recruit and Develop Talent: Assist in hiring, recruiting, and training staff while handling conflicts and client complaints with professionalism.
  • Pathway to Advancement: As an Assistant Salon Manager, you'll have the opportunity to grow into a Salon Manager role, with promotion from within being a key focus.
