About The Position

River Park Hospital is a 165-bed facility that provides behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors in both inpatient and residential settings. We are committed to demonstrating sensitivity to the needs of every individual and improving the quality of life through individualized treatment. The Risk Management Assistant position will support our risk management operations. In this role, you will assist the Risk Manager in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the organization. You will be responsible for maintaining risk documentation, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The Assistant Risk Manager will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively. As a Risk Management Assistant, you will help monitor risk indicators, track incidents, and support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies. You will also assist in conducting risk assessments, updating risk registers, and coordinating with other departments to gather necessary information. This position requires a proactive approach, the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially, and a willingness to learn about risk management frameworks and best practices. This position plays a key role in helping the organization minimize potential losses and enhance its overall risk culture

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in risk management or a related area within healthcare.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in risk analysis and financial analysis.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing healthcare operations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and data modeling techniques is preferred.

Responsibilities
