About The Position

Provides daily coordination and clerical support of department's residency/fellowship program(s) and provides back up to other team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.
  • Relevant Experience (2 Years)

Responsibilities

  • Maintains calendars and performs administrative tasks including copying, filing, faxing and corresponding.
  • Distributes exam scores upon release.
  • Collects, compiles, and distributes data related to duty hour reporting by residents and faculty evaluation summary reports.
  • Generates and distributes the schedule of weekly conferences and distributes to faculty, residents, support staff, and hospital personnel and may track attendance.
  • Assists in planning retreats and conference schedules, reserves auditoriums for conferences and orders catering.
  • Uploads monthly call schedules, miscellaneous documents and policies to websites.
  • Schedules preliminary track interviews with individual faculty and senior residents and assists with preparing PowerPoint presentations of all applicants for interviews and Rank Order Meeting.
  • Compiles orientation packets.
  • Monitors and reviews schedules and work hours to ensure compliance with organization and regulatory polices.
  • Maintains records and documentation required by the ACGME and supervises data collection to fulfill ACGME and other licensing and credentialing board requirements.
  • Assists and acts as backup to other team members during absences and with special projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
