Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine Physician Interest in Ambulatory Pulmonary Medicine Boston, Massachusetts Department of Medicine Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians @ BIDMC Harvard Medical School The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, MA is seeking a clinician/researcher with fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine for a full-time position in the Division and on the faculty of Harvard Medical School. The candidate should be Board eligible or Board certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the time of appointment. Ideally, the individual will have additional training and interest in the care of patients with care of patients with oncological diagnoses. The candidate will be expected to participate in a busy critical care practice and faculty ambulatory practice in pulmonary medicine. The chosen candidate will play a significant role in the education of Harvard Medical students, residents in the Beth Israel Deaconess Internal Medicine Training Program, and fellows from both the Massachusetts General – Beth Israel Deaconess Fellowship in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine and the Beth Israel Deaconess Fellowship in Sleep Medicine. In addition, the individual will play an active role in clinical research in the Division. Finally, the candidate will be expected to have scholarly output sufficient to fulfill metrics for promotion according to the Harvard Medical School Clinical Expertise and Innovation Area of Excellence. Academic rank will be at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level. Faculty development opportunities are abundant for individuals wishing to pursue additional training as medical educators.
