About The Position

Under the direction the residence manager the assistant residence manager ensures for the day-to-day implementation of the youth’s individual service plan. The ARM provides daily communication, feedback and supervision to the program’s child care counselors.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Three years of supervisory experience
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record is required
• Must be able to use a computer and able to learn software programs
• Required to operate a fax, copier, scan, and other office equipment.
• Needs to be able to speak, read and write fluently in the English language
• Must be able to write in the English language using correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.
• May frequently lift 0-25 lbs., occasionally lift 25-50 lbs., and rarely lift over 50 lbs.
• May frequently push/pull 0-25 lbs. of force, occasionally push/pull 26-45 lbs. force, and rarely push/pull over 45 lbs.
• Will be required to sit, stand and walk throughout the work day.
• May occasionally stoop. This is defined as bending body downward by bending spine at the waist.
• May occasionally kneel. This is defined as bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee(s).
• May occasionally crouch. This is defined as bending body downward and forward by bending spine and legs.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision to all full-time, part-time, and per diem Direct Care Workers in the absence of the Residence Manager.
• Represents the Residence Manager at meetings that the Residence Manager is unable to attend.
• Responsible for reviewing and submitting payroll sheets on a bi-weekly basis. When Supervisor is on vacation or as directed by Site Director.
• Attends monthly team conferences, intakes, and service-plan reviews.
• Responsible for monitoring daily logs, records of expenditures, clothing inventories and facility’s census.
• Monitors medication administration to ensure accuracy and standards are being met.
• Any other related duties as required.
