About The Position

The Assistant Regional Administrator is involved in regionwide projects, statewide advocacy, strategic planning, and company leadership. This role represents SBHG and its agencies to the region’s governmental agencies, elected officials, professional associations, and the community. The Assistant Regional Administrator oversees the management of the day-to-day operation of designated programs. This position ensures compliance with Federal, State, County, and local laws and regulations. Assistant Regional Administrators oversee program leadership and provide direct management in their absence. They ensure that there are comprehensive quality treatment programs and services for all clients, review and approve all policies and procedures of the agencies, and support the consultation and oversight provided by SBHG executives and their departments. This role assists the organization in business development and contract negotiations throughout the region. The Assistant Regional Administrator will oversee our outpatient programs, traveling between the northern and central regions of California. Responsibilities include promoting SBHG's mission, motto, and core values, coordinating management duties with the Senior Regional Administrator, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, social services, health care administration, public administration, or a related field is required.
  • Three (3) years of experience as an administrator with SBHG or similar experience with another organization is required.
  • A Valid California Driver’s License is required.
  • Valid CPR certification is required within 30 days of employment.
  • Valid First Aid certification is required within 30 days of employment.
  • Valid Proact certification is required within 30 days of employment.
  • Employment is subject to: Completing a pre-employment Health Screening and TB clearance Receipt of “clear” or approved through DOJ and FBI.
  • Must live in Northern or Central California
  • 40-50% travel required by car (mileage included)

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in above and MSW, MFT, PCC, or Psychology PhD preferred.
  • Licensed as LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or Psy.D. preferred.
