About The Position

Ensure adequate horse supply is available to Running Aces Casino & Racetrack. Fill races with competitive fields and always be in compliance with the rules and regulations of the Minnesota Racing Commission. Ensure all live racing positions are filled and properly trained for each performance. Oversee purse schedules and accounts. Liaison between race track management and the Minnesota Horsemen's Organization. Aide in ensuring revenue goals are met. Coordination with other department to ensure a positive racing product.

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma/GED.
Must have Race Secretary from the United States Trotting Association.
Must have 5 years of experience as a Race Secretary and a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Paddock Judge.
Must be able to obtain a license from the Minnesota Racing Commission
Must have strong organizational skills.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must have knowledge of Minnesota Racing Rules and Procedures.
Must be able to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
