About The Position

Assistant Property Manager – Philadelphia, PA (Tax Credit / LIHTC) Grow your real estate career with HH Red Stone! HH Red Stone is a fast-growing property management company and we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support operations at one of our tax credit (LIHTC) communities in Philadelphia, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured, compliance-driven environment, enjoys working with residents, and wants to play a key role in property performance and resident experience. What You’ll Do: As Assistant Property Manager, you will support the Property Manager in all aspects of daily operations, with a strong emphasis on LIHTC compliance, leasing, and financial administration.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of property management or leasing experience required (affordable housing or LIHTC experience strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with LIHTC compliance, income qualifications, and recertifications
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail (critical for compliance)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and property management software (RealPage/OneSite preferred)
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
  • High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Process rent payments, monitor delinquencies, and assist with collections in accordance with company policy
  • Support LIHTC compliance processes, including income certifications, recertifications, and file audits
  • Ensure resident files are complete and compliant with HUD, LIHTC, and local housing regulations
  • Handle leasing activities: tours, applications, verifications, lease preparation, and renewals
  • Maintain accurate records in property management systems (RealPage/OneSite preferred)
  • Respond to resident inquiries and resolve concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Coordinate work orders and follow up on maintenance requests to ensure timely completion
  • Assist with property inspections and ensure physical standards are maintained
  • Support accounts payable, budgeting, and monthly reporting processes
  • Step in as Acting Property Manager when needed
  • Collaborate with on-site team to drive occupancy, retention, and compliance goals
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
