About The Position

Woodmont Real Estate Services is seeking a customer-focused, detail-driven Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations and resident experience at Emerald Park, one of our beautiful apartment communities in Dublin, CA. Emerald Park offers 1–3-bedroom homes in a prime East Bay location near the Dublin/Pleasanton BART. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Property Manager to drive leasing performance, deliver exceptional resident service, and keep operational and financial workflows running smoothly. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring our leasing center, tours, and resident interactions reflect Woodmont’s standards of excellence. The expected shift for this role is Sunday through Thursday; 9:00am – 6:00pm. With properties spanning multiple submarkets in the Bay Area, this is your opportunity to make a direct impact and build your career with an established leader in the Bay Area Property Management space.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills—comfortable working with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
  • High attention to detail and follow-through with documentation, systems, and deadlines.
  • Confidence using property management technology; RealPage experience strongly preferred.
  • Two or more (2+) years of experience in market-rate multifamily housing, including at least 2 years as a Leasing Consultant and/or Assistant Manager (or similar).
  • Supervisory experience and skills in sales, marketing, management, and customer service.
  • Knowledge of tenant eviction, fair housing, and multifamily industry laws, including Federal and California labor laws.
  • Language Ability: Strong oral and written communication skills. Professional interpersonal skills.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to direct staff, manage tasks, and solve problems with multiple variables. Capacity to analyze market and economic conditions affecting company and regional goals.
  • Computer Skills: Must have proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel). Ability to understand and create reports and documents. RealPage experience preferred, other property management software packages helpful.
  • Mathematical Skills: Competence in basic math, percentages, and financial forecasting.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with lead management tools (Knock preferred) and bill pay platforms (AvidXchange preferred) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support leasing performance by responding to leads, touring prospects, and driving applications with consistent follow-up.
  • Deliver exceptional resident service by resolving questions, supporting renewals, and ensuring timely communication.
  • Prepare and process applications, leases, renewals, and move-in/move-out documentation with accuracy and urgency.
  • Maintain clean, compliant resident files and ensure all activity is documented correctly in RealPage.
  • Track and manage lead activity and follow-up workflows in Knock (calls, emails, tours, next steps).
  • Support invoice coding and bill pay processing through AvidXchange, ensuring timely routing and accuracy.
  • Assist with operational reporting, resident account support, and administrative tasks as directed by the Property Manager.
  • Coordinate with vendors and onsite teams to help ensure the community is tour-ready and operations run smoothly.
  • Provide leadership support and onsite coverage when the Property Manager is offsite or unavailable.
