About The Position

Join Our Richman Property Services (RPS) team as a full-time Assistant Property Manager in Austin, TX! This position is eligible for our brand new "Texas Stay Program", which is designed to financially reward commitment, celebrate milestones, and support RPS new-hires along the way! You will be eligible to receive up to $3,000.00 during your initial first year with RPS as follows: paid after 90-days $500.00, after 6 months, $1,000.00, after one year of service, $1,500.00. All bonuses are paid in conjunction with our regularly scheduled payroll timeframes and dates, and are taxable. Employee must be active at the time of the scheduled payout dates. Position: Assistant Property Manager Location: La Cima, our 260-unit-unit affordable residential community located in Austin, TX 78744! Hours: Standard day-time business hours are Monday-Friday and may include a Saturday shift if needed. Requirements

  • 2-4 years experience with in a high-volume affordable residential community, affordable experience is a requirement for this position.
  • Experience with Yardi property management software systems
  • Valid driver's license required
  • High level of residential customer satisfaction skills
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years in the apartment industry, preferably in an Assistant or Leasing position.
  • Experience with Yardi software is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Property Management software (e.g., Yardi), strong communication, organizational, and analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Fair Employment Housing and EEO laws
  • Valid Driver’s License required

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare resident legal notices and process annual lease renewals
  • Verify lease information accuracy; handle resident inquiries and complaints promptly and courteously
  • Manage work orders and maintain accurate records in Yardi software
  • Conduct unit inspections and manage move-in/move-out processes
  • Assist in leasing activities, resident relations, and social event planning
  • Supervise turnkey operations in the absence of the Property Manager
  • Rent collection, follow up on delinquencies, and resolve accounting discrepancies
