About The Position

Techno is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project management activities. This role works closely with senior project leadership to help manage schedule, cost, documentation, coordination, and day-to-day project execution. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in supporting large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 4–7 years of experience supporting construction management or project management on civil or transportation projects
  • Familiarity with heavy civil construction methods and project controls
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Proficiency with project management and document control systems
  • Experience on rail, tunneling, or major infrastructure projects

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager with planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to support on-time and on-budget performance.
  • Support review and processing of submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications.
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain project documentation, logs, and reporting records.
  • Support project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Assist with quality, safety, and compliance tracking in accordance with project requirements.
  • Identify potential project risks and support issue resolution efforts.
