About the Role Bohler's Central Florida (Orlando, FL) office is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Land Development) who is eager to take the next step in their career in civil engineering. In this role, you'll partner closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, high-quality land development solutions. You'll grow as both an engineer and a leader, supporting project delivery, collaborating directly with clients and municipalities, and contributing to Bohler's reputation for technical excellence and partnership.

  • Support project management activities, including project scoping, proposals, schedules, and resource planning.
  • Oversee preparation of comprehensive site plan packages, grading, stormwater management, utility design, and erosion and sediment control.
  • Coordinate permitting and entitlement approval processes with clients, municipalities, and agencies.
  • Prepare contracts, change orders, and client invoices while tracking financial performance.
  • Collaborate with clients, attorneys, contractors, and subconsultants to ensure project success.
  • Review concept drawings and cost estimates aligned with client objectives.
  • Participate in public hearings, community meetings, and professional organizations.
  • Mentor junior staff and share technical knowledge to promote team growth.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in site design and jurisdictional permitting for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and drainage software such as StormCAD, Hydroflow, or HydroCAD; skilled in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Experience working directly with clients and project teams.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license beneficial.
