The Assistant Project Manager prepares detailed independent cost estimates for final design efforts, analyzes project budgets, and participates in contract negotiations with consultants to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance accountability. This position also assists in coordinating cross-functional reviews, tracking project milestones, and facilitating communication among internal departments, consultants, and external stakeholders. The Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Manager in managing design and construction documentation, ensuring timely project delivery and adherence to contract terms. Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills are essential. The Assistant Project Manager contributes to maintaining high standards of design integrity, cost control, and compliance throughout all phases of infrastructure improvement projects.
