Assistant Project Manager
About The Position
We are supporting a growing data center construction platform in the search for an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join their team in Michigan City. This role will work closely with senior leadership and project directors, supporting the delivery of a portfolio of hyperscale data center projects across North America. The position provides strong exposure to complex mission -critical construction and offers a clear pathway for career progression within a rapidly expanding program. Requirements
- Experience working on data center or mission critical construction projects
- Background in construction management, engineering, or project coordination
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across a portfolio of projects
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with General Contractors or owner’s project teams
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Responsibilities
- Support Project Directors and senior project leadership in the delivery of multiple data center construction projects
- Assist with project coordination, documentation, and reporting across the active portfolio
- Track project schedules, budgets, and progress updates
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams
- Assist with procurement, contract administration, and change order management
- Support construction planning, project meetings, and site coordination
- Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
