About The Position

Devereux's new Medically Complex Program is designed to serve youth with complex medical needs who require 24-hour nursing care, and are therefore not able to safely reside in a home setting. Many youth in this program, although they have many strengths and abilities, do present with sensory impairments, Intellectual Disabilities, physical impairments, self-care skill deficits, or conditions that require use of medical equipment. We use an interdisciplinary team approach to meet the unique needs of each youth and we provide them with enriching, fun, and diverse opportunities to grow and learn. Our goal is to help each child in our care reach their full potential. As the Assistant Program Manager, you will: + Be passionate about working with and helping youth with complex medical needs + Collaboratewith the ProgramDirectorand the Registered Nurse to ensure that youth's medical needs are adequately met + Responsible for working with the Program Directorto create aprogramvision andpositive working environment + Assist with the planning andimplementingrecreational, social,andeducationalprograms + Ensurethat allyouth'smedical appointments are attended and medical follow is implemented as indicated by the medical providers + Responsible for supervisionand trainingof staff You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • HighSchoolDiplomarequired
  • Previousexperience working with individuals with psychological, emotional, intellectual,and/or medical conditionsisrequired
  • Ability to complete 2 weeks orientation training, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, in Rutland

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in human servicefieldpreferred
  • Oneyear of relevant experiencein a supervisory rolepreferred
