About The Position

The Assistant Program Manager at East Side Neighborhood Development Company (ESNDC) plays a crucial role in supporting local businesses through various programs, including the East Side Technical Assistants program (ETAP) and the Biz Recycling program. This position requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as the individual will assist in program management, application intake, and client relations, while also engaging with a diverse community of small businesses in a BIPOC community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field preferred but not mandatory.
• 2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Driver's license or Identification Card (Required).

Nice To Haves

• Lending experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with community-based economic development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Small Business Advisor with day-to-day operations and engagement for ETAP and ECF.
• Assist the Economic Development Specialist in the Biz Recycling Program.
• Help start-up and newer businesses to develop business plans; review plans for existing businesses to assess whether operations, products, services, and cashflows are meeting goals to advance and grow.
• Expedite and assist in creating TA agreements, SOW's and log into teams for file storage.
• Assist in tracking TA progress for ETAP services and client relations.
• Assist with loan documents and follow-through with filings and other lending processes.
• Coordinate alongside the Small Business Advisor with set-up and check-in for ETAP workshops and speaking engagements.
• Review loan accounts monthly to monitor repayments, initiate collection calls and/or late notices when necessary.
