Under the supervision and direction of the Program Coordinator (PC) or Program Manager (PM), the Assistant Program Coordinator (APC) ensures the quality of the Group Residence through direct support of individuals served and supports the daily performance of the house staff in accordance with May Center policies and procedures. They work and interact with individuals with neurological (e.g., autism spectrum disorder) and developmental disabilities, including those with significant challenging behaviors. The Assistant Program Coordinator will be required to implement physical management procedures as needed, using Safety Care approved interventions. The Assistant Program Coordinator carries out these responsibilities with respect and dignity and with adherence to May Institute policies and procedures and the Mission, Vision, and Values of May Institute.
