About The Position

Technology and Operations Management Department invites applications for one tenure track faculty positions. The new faculty members will teach in-person undergraduate and graduate classes primarily in Supply Chain/Operations Management and E-Business related subjects, especially introduction to artificial intelligence technologies in business and supply chain network design. Integration of modern supply chain technologies such as data management and business analytics subjects into the curriculum is a high priority strategic goal of the department and the candidates are expected to provide significant support and contribution toward this goal. The successful candidates must have a strong interest in research and scholarly activities and are expected to provide university/college/department services. Applicants whose work incorporates a global perspective and a commitment to diversity in higher education are particularly encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • A Ph.D./DBA with concentration in Business Analytics and Operations
  • At least one year of full-time university teaching experience at an AACSB-accredited university
  • Demonstrated research excellence in journal publications.
  • Demonstrated record for excellence in teaching.
  • A commitment and a record of contributions to student success through applicant’s teaching, scholarship, or service.
  • Background Check: A background check (including a criminal records check) must be satisfactorily completed.
  • Mandated Reporter: The person holding this position is considered a "mandated reporter" under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • B.A. or MS degree in Economics education background.
  • Academic/Industry background in Business Analytics and/or Data Management and/or Information Systems.
