About The Position
The Department of Nursing invites applications for Full-time, 9 month tenure-track position starting Fall 2026 at the rank of Assistant Professor. Teaching responsibilities include classroom and clinical instruction in the BSN program in the area of medical/surgical nursing. Other responsibilities include academic advising of students’ participation in ongoing curriculum development and evaluation; committee assignments, and active engagement in scholarly activities. Teaching, research, and service responsibility are negotiable and dependent on the candidate’s area of expertise and the needs of the program. The department also seeks candidates who will contribute to the University’ general education curriculum with its emphasis on a common First Year Seminar and core curriculum courses that enhance student’s critical thinking, and the College’s support of interdisciplinary program of study.
