The Division of Vascular Surgery at OHSU provides excellent patient care while maintaining educational and research-rich programs that train surgeons and researchers and enhance their understanding of the vascular system. A special interest in quality outcomes and measurement drives much of the division¿s research they offer a 2-year vascular and endovascular surgery fellowship as well as an integrated residency program. OHSU¿s vascular surgeons operate out of the Knight Cardiovascular Institute. The successful candidate will provide expert clinical care in vascular surgery, with a practice that includes the full spectrum of arterial and venous disease. In addition, the faculty member will help advance vascular services across OHSU’s clinical network by supporting program growth and engaging in strategic outreach with community partners to expand access to high‑quality vascular care. The appointee will also participate in multidisciplinary care and contribute to systemwide quality‑improvement initiatives, including the development of standardized care pathways, outcomes‑driven projects, and performance‑improvement efforts aligned with institutional priorities. This position includes active involvement in education for medical students, residents, and fellows. Faculty are expected to participate in and contribute to departmental educational activities, such as Morbidity and Mortality Conference, Surgery Grand Rounds, case-based teaching sessions, and other structured learning forums. The faculty member will also deliver lectures and educational content within the institution and to broader regional and national audiences. Scholarly activity is expected and may include clinical outcomes research, quality-improvement scholarship, technology assessment, innovation in surgical techniques, or collaborative research initiatives. The faculty member will also participate in outreach activities at affiliated community hospitals, including limited clinical coverage and shared quality initiatives, in support of strengthening regional surgical networks and elevating the standard of vascular care across partner sites.
