The Department of Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Sciences (ADVS) at Utah State University (USU) is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor, tenure-track position in Animal and Dairy Science. This 12-month, fiscal-year faculty position carries responsibilities in Teaching (60%), Extension (35%), and Service (5%) in the S.J. and Jessie E. Quinney College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (QANR). The successful candidate will contribute to the department's undergraduate and graduate teaching programs in dairy science and livestock production systems and develop Extension programming that supports Utah livestock industries and youth development, with particular emphasis on dairy cattle production, workforce development, and experiential learning. Early career applicants, including individuals completing their Ph.D. prior to the start date, are encouraged to apply. The position complements our statewide Extension Specialists' roles and emphasizes teaching excellence, youth engagement, and the creation of original educational resources.
